Cookies & Essential Storage

Essential sign-in cookie

The application sets cv_session when an authorized user signs in. It supports administrative or employee workspace access. Its current configuration gives it a maximum lifetime of 12 hours and removes it on logout. It is configured as HttpOnly, SameSite Lax and Secure in the production runtime. These settings support session protection but do not replace account security.

Public browsing and optional tracking

Reading public pages does not require signing in. The current source does not bundle an advertising tracker or analytics tag. Hosting, CDN or security services can have their own configuration, so their actual storage and request behavior also needs review when enabled. A future optional analytics or advertising integration needs an updated notice and any required consent controls before activation.

Fonts and network requests

The stylesheet requests DM Sans and Space Grotesk from Google Fonts. These requests can share technical information such as IP address and browser headers with Google's font services. A font request is different from a first-party sign-in cookie. Read Google Fonts privacy information for the provider's explanation. An external article link does not itself become first-party browser storage.

Browser controls

You can inspect, block or remove cookies through browser settings. Blocking or deleting the essential cookie can sign you out or prevent workspace access. Controls vary by browser and device. Private browsing does not prevent every network request or make you anonymous to all services.
